10 Healthy Milkshakes and Smoothies - Because f**k Atkins!

This has zippideedooda to do with my blog, but as a service to the entire universe I feel I should share these awesome milkshake/smoothie recipes. Cause it’s just sad as hell to imagine you dieters crying over your celery and vinaigrette.

*These recipes are not my own and I got them from various web pages, because sharing is caring*

First up: Chocolate milkshake!

Ingredients
1 cup milk (whatever milk you fancy)
1 very ripe banana
1 Tbsp. cocoa powder (use raw cacao powder if you can find it)
1 Tbsp. peanut butter
1.5 cups ice
Blend until smoooottthhheee.

2. Strawberry milkshake!

Ingredients
2 cups milk
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup frozen strawberries

3. Bananas ‘in pyjamas’ milshake!

Ingredients

1 frozen ripe banana, cut into chunks
1 cup milk
1 tablespoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract

4. Blueberry-Banana Smoothie!

Ingredients

1,25 cups light soy milk
0,5 cup frozen loose-pack blueberries ADD TO SHOPPING LIST
0,5 frozen banana, sliced
2 teaspoons sugar (a lil sugar won’t kill you :D)

5. Watermelon Smoothie!

Ingredients

2 cups chopped watermelon
0,25 cup fat-free milk
2 cups ice
(Better to buy seedless watermelon, unless you have a super high powered blender)

6. Pineapple smoothie! Mmmmm

Ingredients

1 cup low-fat or light vanilla yogurt
6 ice cubes
1 cup pineapple chunks

7. Strawberry-Banana smoothie (Why not both?!)

Ingredients

1 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1 banana
0,5 cup orange juice
6 frozen strawberries

8. Antioxidant Smoothie

Ingredients

2 cups mixed frozen berries (9 ounces)
1 cup unsweetened pomegranate juice
1 cup water

9. Superfood Smoothie

Ingredients

2 handfuls spinach
1 handful kale
1/2-3/4 cup orange juice
10-12 baby carrots
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup plain non-fat greek yogurt
1 cup frozen mixed berries

10. Avocado Smoothie

1 ripe avocado, halved and pitted
1 1/4 cups whole milk
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
Basil, thinly sliced

Remember just to blend everything until it’s smoootthhheee! Smoothe n frothy. Just think of Rick Santorum, though preferably not when you’re drinking.
